Description:
Grosbois estate - Boissy-Saint-Léger, France. The "Château de Grosbois". This castle, finished in the XVIIth century, initially belonged to Charles de Valois (1573-1650), count of Auvergne and duke of Angoulême. In 1962 the estate was bought by the "Société d'encouragement à l'élevage du cheval français" who set up a training center for racehorses. The architect of the castle is unknown, the style is influenced by the designs of Jacques Androuet du Cerceau.
